Journeyman Librarian, Geek, Seeker of Knowledge
"If we value the pursuit of knowledge, we must be free to follow wherever that search may lead us. The free mind is not a barking dog, to be tethered on a ten-foot chain."
Adlai Stevenson at the University of Wisconsin, Madison on October 8, 1952
Information is the currency of our age. All of us peddle in the information of what was, what is, and what is to be. As a librarian and information professional, I believe that it is my role to safeguard the information and be a guide in its use. The information may exist as text printed onto a page, soar through the wiring of the internet as an infinite series of bits, or even drift on the ether of the farthest reaches of our imaginations. The future is within our grasp, we just have to step forward a little to reach it.
